In January, as I always do I decided that this year was going to be the year that I got healthy. At that time, I had one year left of nursing school and set the goal to be back to my pre-pregnancy weight by the time I graduated. I started strong and was in the gym almost five days a week. I cut out soda and sweet tea that I loved so much and stuck just to water and eliminated fast food from my diet. It felt like the weight was falling off initially. I continued to work out over the next seven months and for the past three I just wasn't seeing results. I got very discouraged and knew I needed some kind of direction to optimize my workout routine. That's why when Rob approached me I knew this is exactly what I needed. After sitting down with him (and being in the medical field) I was blown away with his knowledge and expertise. I'm so excited to begin this journey to a healthy life!
Less than a week of working with Rob and I was very nervous to weigh myself. With a very busy schedule, I was typically eating 1 large meal a day so transitioning to eating 5 small protein loaded meals made me fear I was going to gain weight initially. However, I am 6 lbs lighter than I was 5 days ago. The best part of working with a trainer is that you push yourself so much harder as you have someone to hold you accountable. I look forward to all the improvements to come!
Now introducing Rob's workout and meal plan, lose 10 lbs in 10 days! Well there is no guarantee but I did and I feel great. Even some of my classmates have commented that I look as if I have lost weight. It's such an amazing feeling when others start to acknowledge your hard work. I'm so glad I decided to finally take my health seriously!
I am thrilled to say that after six years with Anemia I am no longer Anemic and today I was able to donate blood for the first time in my life. Rob has not only helped me lose over 20 pounds in 6 weeks, but his nutrition plan has also made me healthy. I am so very grateful to Rob for helping to change my life!
10 weeks into my fitness journey with Rob and I cannot begin to thank him enough for guiding me to transform my body and my life. I went shopping for clothes for an upcoming interview; my pants size is half of what it was 10 weeks ago. My energy level is through the roof compared to 10 weeks ago. I don't know how I could have survived my last semester of nursing school without that energy. In addition to looking better I have more confidence than I ever have!
Yesterday I attended a graduate nurse expo; I was extended an offer for a nurse residency position at three different hospitals. I am not exaggerating in the least when I say that improving my health has really improved my life. My life has never been as busy and hectic but I had to make time to work out and keep going - Really Hard! There were so many times before I met Rob when I considered giving up because I wasn't getting results I wanted (fast enough), but with a trainer pushing me and keeping me accountable I was given that EXTRA push I needed.
My only regret is not meeting Rob sooner; look at what he has done for me in just 10 short weeks!
